Blues U12 Tryout Updates

We would like to thank all the players/goalies who tried out for the Blues this year and wish you all success in the upcoming season.
Final rosters will be posted within 24 hours of receipt of the coach’s final selections email to the Blues Executive.
For players successful in making the teams, please be prepared for practices and meetings this week, announced on short notice.

Hockey Background:
I am a Certified High Performance Coach with Hockey Canada and have been coaching hockey for 20+ years, with much of that experience at AAA and CCHL Junior A. The primary purpose for my involvement in youth sport is developing young people. This involves their social, emotional, and psychological development as well as the more obvious physical development as hockey players. We will develop a group of players that prioritize a team-first approach to the game. Within this framework, a strong understanding of the value of hard work, commitment, and team play will be established. I am excited to work with this team and can’t wait for the season to start.
As families prepare for tryouts in September, please note that a full commitment to hockey as their primary sport is expected once the team is selected. Players will be expected to attend all practices, games, training opportunities and tournaments.
