Blues U10
Hello U10 Blues Families,
My name is Dominic Bazinet, and I’m very excited to introduce myself as the Head Coach of the U10 Blues for the upcoming season.
Hockey Background:
I bring nearly a decade of coaching experience, having worked at all levels from U7 through U15, including Head Coach and Assistant Coach roles with the Blackburn Stingers, East Ottawa Stars, and Rangers programs.
Coaching Philosophy / Season Goal:
My coaching philosophy is centered around creating a positive, fun, and supportive environment where players develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game. At the U10 level, my focus is on skill development, teamwork, respect, and building good habits on and off the ice. I believe every player develops at their own pace and deserves an inclusive environment where effort, attitude, and improvement are valued.
I also strongly believe in using specialized skill providers (such as skating, edge work, and development programs) to support player growth alongside our structured and engaging team practices.
Most importantly, hockey should be fun. My goal is for players to work hard, support one another, and leave the rink each day feeling excited, confident, and proud of their progress.
I look forward to working with the players and families to make this a great season.
